Our Story
Horn Construction Group is a commercial general contractor based in Old Hickory, inside Davidson County, working across Nashville and the surrounding Middle Tennessee counties.
Keith Horn started the company after decades in the field, and the way it operates still reflects that. The person who prices a project is the person who walks the site, and the person who walks the site is on the job while it is being built. That is not a positioning statement. It is simply how a company this size works when it is run properly.
Over twenty years we have delivered retail, flex, industrial, warehouse, and specialty buildings across the region, along with renovation and adaptive reuse work on structures other contractors had already written off. Today the focus is mid-market commercial construction: projects large enough to require real construction management, and small enough to get direct attention from the people running the company.

Keith Horn, Founder
Keith brings decades of construction and general contracting experience to Horn Construction Group. He holds rigorous safety standards on every site, stays ahead of problems rather than reacting to them, and maintains the subcontractor partnerships that keep a schedule intact.
His involvement is direct. Keith walks the site before a budget is written and is on the job during construction, which means questions get answered by someone with the authority to decide. How We Work
Safety
Every person on our sites goes home the way they arrived. We run active safety programs, hold subcontractors to the same standard we hold ourselves, and treat safety performance as a condition of working with us.
Quality and Craftsmanship
We build to the documents and to a standard we'd accept in our own buildings. That means the trades we use are ones we've worked with before, the details get inspected as work proceeds rather than at punch list, and problems get corrected while they're still cheap to correct.
Communication and Reporting
You get regular, structured updates on progress, budget, and schedule, with enough detail to know exactly where the project stands. Changes get communicated when they happen, not at the end. Most construction disputes trace back to something someone didn't say early enough.

The classification is BC Unlimited, which places no restriction on the type of commercial building the company can contract. The licence carries a monetary limit of $1.5 million per project.
The company carries $2 million in general liability coverage on an aggregate basis. Certificates of insurance naming you as certificate holder, and as additional insured where your contract requires it, are provided on request.
Subcontractors working on our projects carry their own general liability and workers compensation coverage, and we collect and hold current certificates before any trade begins work on site.
